About AI Bharata: Building the Future of Medical AI
Every year, over 3.6 billion medical imaging studies are performed worldwide. X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds — billions of images that hold the answers to critical health questions.
And yet, most of those images are still shared on CDs. Most are read by overworked radiologists with no AI assistance. Most are locked inside hospital systems where patients cannot access their own data.
AI Bharata exists to change that.
Who We Are
AI Bharata is a healthcare technology company focused on one mission: making medical imaging accessible, shareable, and intelligent for everyone — not just large hospital systems with enterprise budgets.
We build MYAIRA, a dual-product platform that combines instant medical scan sharing with AI-powered image analysis. Two products. One platform. Designed to work together.
- MYAIRA Medixshare lets patients and doctors share native-resolution medical scans via SMS, WhatsApp, or email. No app download. No portal login. No CD. Just a link that opens in any browser.
- MYAIRA AI analyzes medical images using deep learning models trained on diverse, multi-institutional datasets. It detects over fifteen chest and lung pathologies from X-rays in under three seconds, with structured findings, confidence scores, and heatmap overlays.
Together, these products create something no competitor offers: a platform where any scan can be shared instantly and analyzed intelligently, from a single interface.
Why We Started
AI Bharata’s origin traces back to 2020, when COVID-19 overwhelmed healthcare systems worldwide. Radiologists were drowning in chest X-rays. Patients couldn’t get their scans to specialists. Hospitals in rural areas had no AI tools and no radiologist coverage.
The problem was clear: medical imaging technology had advanced enormously, but access to that technology had not. AI existed in research papers. Scan sharing existed in enterprise contracts. Neither was available to the solo radiologist reading films at 2 AM, the patient driving across town to pick up a CD, or the rural clinic with no specialist on staff.
We started building because we believed the technology should serve everyone, not just the institutions that could afford six-figure contracts and year-long integrations.
What We Believe
Accessibility is not optional. If an AI tool requires an enterprise sales cycle, a six-month integration, and a dedicated IT team, it doesn’t exist for 80% of healthcare. AI Bharata builds for the 80%. Free tiers, transparent pricing, self-serve onboarding. Minutes to value, not months.
Patients own their data. Your medical scans are pictures of you. You should be able to see them, share them, and control who else sees them. Medixshare puts patients in charge of their imaging data for the first time.
AI assists. Humans decide. Every AI output from MYAIRA is positioned as decision support — AI-assisted analysis, not AI diagnosis. The radiologist reviews, interprets, and reports. Always. We are explicit about where our models are strong and where they have limitations, because clinicians deserve honesty, not marketing claims.
Sharing and intelligence belong together. A scan that can be shared but not analyzed is half a solution. A scan that can be analyzed but not easily sent to a specialist is the other half. AI Bharata built both products on one platform because the problem demands it.
Our Products
MYAIRA Medixshare
Medixshare solves the scan-sharing problem that has plagued healthcare for decades. Instead of burning a CD, printing a film, or navigating a hospital portal, clinics and patients share scans via a simple link.
The recipient opens the link in any browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox — on any device. Full resolution. Every slice. Diagnostic-quality viewing. No software to install. No account to create.
It works for patients sharing with doctors, doctors sharing with other doctors, and imaging centers replacing their entire CD-burning workflow. Supported modalities include X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and pathology slides.
For patients, Medixshare is free. For imaging centers and hospitals, business and enterprise tiers add custom branding, analytics, and API access.
MYAIRA AI
MYAIRA AI is a medical image analysis platform that operates as an AI second reader. It analyzes chest X-rays for more than fifteen pathologies — including pneumothorax, pleural effusion, consolidation, cardiomegaly, masses, nodules, and rib fractures — returning results in under three seconds.
Each analysis includes structured findings with confidence scores and heatmap overlays showing the image regions that influenced the assessment. The system is designed for radiologists who need a tireless set of eyes to catch what fatigue, time pressure, and volume cause them to miss.
AI Bharata offers a free tier with 50 analyses per month so any radiologist can test the system on real clinical cases. Professional and Enterprise tiers add unlimited analyses, PACS integration, and on-premise deployment options.
Chest X-ray is where we started. The platform architecture supports all imaging modalities and all pathologies — CT, MRI, ultrasound, and pathology are on the roadmap.
The Flywheel
The two products reinforce each other. Medixshare brings scan volume to the platform. AI adds intelligence to every shared scan. Better outcomes attract more users. More data improves AI performance. Network effects compound.
No other company in medical imaging offers this combination. Competitors sell AI or sharing. AI Bharata sells both, on one platform, with a free tier that lets anyone start immediately.
Our Approach to Healthcare AI
AI Bharata takes a deliberate approach to building healthcare AI that prioritizes clinical reliability over marketing claims.
Diverse training data. Our models are trained on multi-institutional datasets spanning different geographies, imaging equipment, and patient populations. This reduces site-specific bias and improves generalization — because an AI system that only works on one hospital’s images is not a real product.
Transparent performance reporting. We publish sensitivity and specificity metrics per pathology, not just aggregate accuracy numbers. We are explicit about where the system is strong and where it has known limitations. Trustworthy AI means telling clinicians what the system cannot do, not just what it can.
Human-in-the-loop by design. MYAIRA AI is a decision support tool. It flags findings. It provides confidence scores. It highlights image regions. But it does not make diagnoses. The clinical judgment remains with the physician, who interprets AI output in the context of patient history, symptoms, and other findings.
Regulatory pathway. AI Bharata is pursuing FDA 510(k) clearance for core chest X-ray detection capabilities. We believe regulatory accountability matters — not because clearance guarantees excellence, but because it imposes a standard of evidence that self-reported claims do not.
The Team
AI Bharata is led by Dr. Vinayaka Jyothi, a physician and technologist who has spent years at the intersection of healthcare and artificial intelligence. The team combines deep expertise in medical imaging, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and healthcare compliance.
We are a small team building a big platform — deliberately. Staying lean means we can ship fast, price aggressively, and focus on the product instead of organizational overhead. When we grow, it will be because the product demands it, not because the org chart does.
The Opportunity
The medical imaging AI market is projected to grow from $1.89 billion in 2025 to $27.59 billion by 2034 — a 34.7% compound annual growth rate. The medical image sharing market is projected to reach $4.8 billion by 2032. Together, the addressable market exceeds $30 billion.
But the opportunity is not just financial. There are 19,500 unfilled radiologist positions projected in the United States by 2034. Rural hospitals across the world lack specialist coverage. Patients in every country struggle to access their own medical images. The gap between what technology can do and what patients and doctors actually experience is enormous.
AI Bharata is building to close that gap.
What’s Next
We are in early access today. Patients and doctors can share scans with Medixshare and try AI analysis through MYAIRA’s free tier. Imaging centers and hospitals can pilot both products with transparent, self-serve pricing.
Our near-term priorities:
- Expand AI capabilities beyond chest X-ray to CT, MRI, and additional pathologies
- Publish clinical validation results on public benchmark datasets
- Achieve FDA 510(k) clearance for core chest X-ray detection
- Grow the Medixshare network through viral sharing and imaging center partnerships
- Build the clinical evidence base with pilot programs and real-world outcome data
We are not trying to boil the ocean. We are solving two specific, well-defined problems — scan sharing and AI-assisted reading — and solving them well enough that the products speak for themselves.
